In this day and age it may be of utmost importance to remain working while pursuing an advanced degree, and our online MPH program
is a convenient way for professionals to finish a course of study around their busy schedule. These programs have been created to provide the same level of quality and dedication as our traditional on-campus programs.
We currently offer 2 Master of Public Health tracks—each a 44 credit hour program:
On campus courses for Master of Public Health
The Master of Public Health track in Public Health Policy and Health Management can be completed completely online. Most core courses and program specific classes are exclusively online; however, some required classes have the option of being taken on campus (Epidemiology, Environmental Health and Biostatistics courses). Some of our elective classes require attendance on campus, and the practicum may be completed at a location in the Chicagoland area or at a site close to you.
The Epidemiology Master of Public Health track
is a mix of online and traditional classwork. This track can not be completed entirely online. The courses in Epidemiology (6 credits), Biostatistics (9 credits) and electives in Clinical Trials (3 credits), Grant Writing (3 credits) and Meta-Analysis (3 credits) are taught as 10-week evening courses held once a week (generally Tuesdays) at the Maywood campus. We also offer several other electives that are not-online.
