The mission of the MPH degree Program at Loyola University Chicago is to train students and professional to address racial and economic health disparities through public health research, practice and advocacy.

Why an online MPH program from Loyola?

In this day and age it may be of utmost importance to remain working while persuing an advanced degree, and our online MPH program is a convenient way for professionals to finish a course of study around their busy schedule. These programs have been created to provide the same level of quality and dedication as our traditional on-campus programs.

We currently offer 3 MPH tracks—each a 44 credit hour program:

Master of Public Health

Taking on Health Issues that Effect Us on All Levels
The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree addresses multiple complex health problems including access to health care services, environmental hazards, injury and substance abuse. Leaders in Public Health assess and monitor the health of populations and in addition to access to health care services and prevention and the success of these programs. Leaders in Public Health come from a variety of disciplines including education, research, law, social work, nursing or medicine, but all are committed to improving the health of individuals and at risk populations. An MPH degree enhances career opportunities due to the acquirement of qualitative and quantitative problem solving skills and training in communication and leadership.
